General Procedures and Information
GP 3 Setting IOT Parameters and Life Counters
The purpose is to display, set up and/or reset the parameters stored in the NVM of the IOT.
Procedure
1. Enter the Diagnostic Mode (GP 1).
2. Press the Menu button until IOT PARAM SET is displayed.
3. Press the Item Enter button.
4. The following menu items become available, and pressing the Up Arrow or Down Arrow
button will toggle the display to scroll through them.
• CTRL VAL SET - selecting this item allows you to select menu items and set or reset
the values for the parameters as shown in the Table 1.
• LIFE COUNT SET - selecting this item allows you to select menu items and view the
current value of the counters shown in the Table 3.
• LIFE COUNT RESET - selecting this item allows you to select menu items and
change the value of the counters shown in the Table 3.
Press the Item Enter button when the desired selection is displayed in order to make a
selection.
5. To set up IOT parameters, press the Item Enter button when CTRL VAL SET is dis-
played. Then perform the following steps:
a. Press the Up Arrow or Down Arrow button to select the Menu Number for the param-
eter to be set from the Table 1.
b. Press the Item Enter button to display the current value of the parameter selected.
c. Press the Up Arrow or Down Arrow button to set the value as required.
d. Press the Item Enter button to update the new value, or press the Clear/Stop button
to return to the IOT PARAM SET display without updating the data.
