Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the PWB Box (REP 6.11)
3. Remove the PWB Box Cover (REP 6.12)
CAUTION
The PWB components are highly susceptible to damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD)
and extreme care should be used when handling these components. Use of the ESD Field
Service Kit is required.
CAUTION
Be sure to record the current NVM values for IIT Lead Registration, IIT Side Registration, IIT
Magnification, and Auto Shading before replacing the ICM MAIN PWB. After replacing the ICM
MAIN PWB, enter the previously recorded data back into the machine.
4. Remove the ICM Main PWB (Figure 1).

Replacement
1. Perform the procedure for removal in reverse.
2. Perform ICM Main PWB Adjustment (ADJ 6.5).

Remove the connector
screws (8)

Remove the screws (11) and the ICM Main
PWB by moving it in the direction indicated
