REP 9.17 Belt Cleaner

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Fuser Assembly (REP 10.1)
CAUTION
Be careful not to touch the IBT Belt Assembly or cleaning blade of the Belt Cleaner Assembly.
Do not allow the Cleaning Blade to come in contact with any other parts.
NOTE: Dry Ink may spill from the Belt Cleaner during the removal. Place paper on the frame
below the Belt Cleaner, and be careful not to spill dry ink.
3. Remove the Belt Cleaner (Figure 1).
