REP 8.14 Stack Height Sensor

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Bypass Tray/Registration Assembly. (REP 8.6)
3. Remove the Bypass Tray Feed Assembly. (REP 8.7)
4. Remove the Top Frame. (Figure 1)

5. Remove the Stack Height Sensor. (Figure 1)

Replacement
1. Perform the procedure for removal in reverse.

Remove the three
screws and partially
remove the Top
Frame

Disconnect
the connector
3
Open the wire clips
and release the wires
on the bottom side of
the Top Frame.
Remove the frame

Remove the
Retard Spring from
the Top Frame
2
Remove the screw
and the Stack
Height Sensor
Bracket
3
Release the
locking tabs
and remove the
Stack Height
Sensor
