Depress thebrake pedal and press button 1
once.

If thevehicle does notstart:switchoff unnec‐
essaryconsumersand press button 1 once.

If thevehicle still does notstart and thedis‐
playmessage Place the Key in the Marked
Space See Operator's Manual appearsinthe
multifunction display: startthe vehicle in
emergency operation mode.
