When theignition is switched on, manysystems
perform aself-test. Somewarning and indicator
lamps mayswitchonorflash temporarilyduring
this time. This behavior is no cause foralarm.
These warning and indicator lamps onlysignal a
malfunction if they light up or flash, oncethe
engine has been startedorthe vehicle is in oper‐
