Pull theseat belt smoothly from theseat belt
outlet.
#
Engage theseat belt tongueinthe seat belt
buckle.
#
To activatethe special seatbelt retractor:
pull theseat belt out fully and letthe inertia
reel retract it again.
Whenthe special seat belt retractor is activa‐
ted, youshouldhear aratcheting sound.
#
Push thechild restraint system down until the
seat belt sits tightly.
#
To deactivatethe special seatbeltretrac‐
tor: press therelease button of theseat belt
buckle.
#
Hold theseat belt tongueand guidebackto
theseat belt outlet.

If thechild and thechild restraint system
together weigh morethan 73 lb (33 kg), the
LATCH-type (ISOFIX)child restraint system
withintegrated seat belt does notoffer suffi‐
cient protection.Anexcessiveload maybe
placed on theLATCH-type (ISOFIX)child seat
attachments and thechild maynot be
restrained in theevent of an accident, for
example.

If thechild and thechild restraint sys‐
temtogether weigh morethan 73 lb
(33 kg), use onlyaLATCH-type (ISOFIX)
child restraint system that secures the
child withthe vehicle seat belt.
