If people –particularly children –are exposed
to extreme temperatures overanextended
periodoftime, thereisarisk of serious or
evenfatal injury.

dren –unattendedinthe vehicle.

Neverleave animals in thevehicle unat‐
tended.

WARNING Risk of burnswhen thechild
seat is exposed to direct sunlight
If thechild restraint system is exposed to
direct sunlight or heat, parts could heat up.
Children could sufferburns from these parts,
particularly on metallic parts of thechild
restraint system.

Alwaysmakesurethat thechild
restraint system is notexposedtodirect
sunlight.
#
Protect it withablanket,for example.
#
If thechild restraint system has been
exposed to direct sunlight,allowitto
cool beforesecuring achild intoit.

Neverleave children unattendedinthe
vehicle.

To improve protection forchildren younger than
12 yearsold or under5ft (1.50 m) in height,
Mercedes-Benzrecommends youalwaysobserve
thefollowing notes:

Only securechildren in achild restraint sys‐
temwhichissuitableand recommended for
Mercedes-Benzvehicles and whichisappro‐
priatefor theage,weight and size of the
child. Observe theinstructionsfor correct use
of thechild restraint system.
R
If possible, install thechild restraint system
on arear seat.
R
Onlyuse thefollowing securing systems for
child restraint systems:

theseat belt system
-
theLATCH-type (ISOFIX)securing rings
-
theTop Tether anchorages
R
Observe thechild restraint system manufac‐
turer's installation instructions.

Observe thewarning labels in thevehicle
interior and on thechild restraint system.
