To indicate: push thecombination switchin
required direction 2 or 4 until it engages.
In thecase of larger steering movements, the
combinationswitchautomatically switches
back.

To indicatebriefly: tapthe combination
switchbriefly in required direction 2 or 4.
The corresponding turnsignal light flashes
threetimes.

To switchonthe highbeam: switch on the
lowbeam (/ page80).

The K indicator lamponthe instrument
clusterwilllightup. The combination switch
willreturntoits startingposition.

ning.

To switchoff thehigh beam: push combina‐
tion switch 1 forwards or briefly pull it in the
direction of arrow 3 (the high-beam flasher
switches thehigh beam off).

Vehicles with Highbeam Assist: when
Highbeam Assistisactive, it controls the
activationand deactivationofthe high beam
(/ page82).

To activatethe high-beam flasher: switch
on thepowersupply or ignition.

Briefly pull thecombination switchinthe
direction of arrow 3.
Switching hazardwarninglights on or off

To switchonand off: press button 1.
If youoperateaturnsignal indicator while the
hazardwarning lightsare switched on, onlythe
turnsignalindicatoronthe relevant sideofthe
vehicle lights up.
If thehazardwarning lightshave automatically
switched on, press thehazardwarning lamp
switch 1 to switchthem off.

Cornering light function
Cornering light improvesthe illuminationofthe
road overawideangle in theturning direction,
enabling better visibility in tight bends, forexam‐
