Washing thevehicle by hand
Observe thelegal requirements, forexample in
manycountries washing by hand is only allowed
at speciallydesignated wash bays.Inthis case,
makesurethat aspeciallydesignated wash bayis
used forwashing by hand.

Use amild cleaning agent, e.g. car shampoo.

Wash thevehicle withlukewarmwater and a
softcar sponge. When doing so, do not
expose thevehicle to direct sunlight.

Carefully spray thevehicle withwater and dry
offwithaleather cloth.Becarefulnot to
point thewater jetdirectlytowards theair
inletgrilles. The blowershould be switched
offwhiledoing so.

Do notlet thecleaning agent dryonthe paint‐
work.
At theonsetofwinter,remove all traces of road
salt deposits carefullyand as soon as possible.
