Sample calculation fordetermining themaxi‐
mumload
The following table has examples of howtocalcu‐
late totaland cargo load capacities withvarying
seatingconfigurations and different numbersand
sizesofoccupants. The following examples use a
maximum load of 1,500 lbs (680 kg). This value
is forillustrativepurposes only. Makesureyou
areusingthe actual load limit foryour vehicle
stated on your vehicle's Tire and LoadingInfor‐
mation placard(/page302).
The higherthe weight of all theoccupants, the
smaller themaximum load forluggage.
