Switchoff theengine and remove the
keyfromthe ignition lock. Then, release
thebatteryclamps of thestarter bat‐
tery.

Alwaysdisconnect thestarterbatteryin
thebatterycase in theleftfootwell first.

thealternator,could be damaged.
