8.7 Con󹪝guring the con
verter
Overview
After carrying out the basic con󹪝guration of devices in the project, make the extended settings
for commissioning.
Description of function
The following areas are provided in display area "Parameterization":
• Basic parameterization
Here you can view the preassigned basic parameters of the converter, and if necessary you
can change individual values. If the motor brake is available, then you can also set that this
brake is forced open.
• Inputs/outputs
Here you can con󹪝gure the digital inputs and outputs of the converter.
• Technology functions
Here you con󹪝gure the basic positioner (EPOS) and pulse train output (PTO).

using the guided quick startup (Page253).
