3.4.3 Line lter
Description
Line lters limit the conducted interference emissions from the converters to the permissible
limit values according to IEC 61800-3 Category C2.
Line lters are passive components used to expand the EMC properties of the servo drive
system.
Siemens recommends that you use a line lter to protect the system from high frequency
noise.

nion, UK, and Korea, the use of the recommended line lters is
mandatory to fulll the local EMC directives.
