8.7.3.2 Con󹪝guring Pulse Train Output (PTO) (for the S200 converter only)
Overview
Pulse Train Output (PTO) is referred to as pulse/direction interface. The pulse/direction interface
comprises two signals. The frequency of the pulse output represents the speed and the number
of output pulses for the section to be traversed. The direction output de󹪝nes the traversing
direction. As a consequence, the position is speci󹪝ed in precise increments.
Requirements
The drive has been completely created and speci󹪝ed in the device con󹪝guration.
A control (PLC) is created in the device con󹪝guration and networked with the drive.
The required technology objects for the control have been completely created in the device
con󹪝guration (e.g. "TO_PositioningAxis").
For activated user management (UMAC):
The function rights for editing drive data are activated for your user account.
