4. Proceed as follows according to your selection:
– If you select "No. of PT
O pulses per motor revolution", enter the number of pulses per
motor revolution.
– If you select "Enter gear ratio", enter the gearbox ratio directly in the two input 󹪝elds above
and below the fraction bar.
The resulting pulses per revolution are calculated from this entry.
5. Save the settings in the project.

8.7.4.1 Calling the telegram con󹪝guration
Overview
The "Telegram con󹪝guration" function is part of the device con󹪝guration, and is displayed in the
inspector window.
You can either call this function via the project tree or for Startdrive S drives, also via direct
links from the communication screen forms.
Information about the telegrams used in the converter is provided in "Communication
telegrams (Page332)".
Requirement
• The converter has been completely created and speci󹪝ed in the device con󹪝guration.
• For activated user management (UMAC):
The function rights required to con󹪝gure telegrams in the inspector window are activated for
your user role.

Procedure
1
. Double-click the entry "Device con󹪝guration" in the project tree.
2. Click on the converter in the device con󹪝guration.
3. Click the entry "Telegram con󹪝guration" under "PROFINET interface [X150]" in the
"Properties" tab of the inspector window.
The settings for the telegram con󹪝guration are displayed below the respective 󹪝eldbus
interface.
