Standard specific gravity at 20°C (68°F):
1.25–1.27 (55D23L Battery)
1.27–1.29 (80D26L Battery)
If not within specifications, charge the battery.
HINT: Check the indicator as shown.
2. CHECK BATTERY TERMINALS, FUSIBLE LINK AND
FUSES
(a) Check that the battery terminals are not loose or corroded.
(b) Check the fusible link and fuses for continuity.
AIR FILTER INSPECTION

1. INSPECT AIR FILTER
Visually check that the air filter is not excessively dirty, dam-
aged or oily.
2. CLEAN AIR FILTER
Clean the air filter with compressed air.
First blow air from the upper thoroughly. Then blow off the
lower of the air filter.
