7 -- CALIBRATION
When to calibrate
Calibration is carried out:
S During assembly of the combine (main portion of
the calibration menu)
S Before the first start-off (and when installing impor-
tant accessories afterwards)
S Whenever changing:
-- Traction wheels
-- Header
-- Header height setting
-- Cleaning shoe speed (returns sensor)
-- Time (e.g. from summer to winter time)
S After repair of:
-- Header height sensor
-- Monitor
-- Lateral float sensor
-- Returns sensor
Access to the Calibration mode
1. When the power is switched on, by means of the
ignition key, the monitor display will show the rpm
operation mode.
IMPORTANT:
As some calibration jobs require a running
engine, it is advisable to s tart the engine be-
fore entering the calibration mode!
