1 Outline of Operation
1.1 Outline
The fixing roller of the fixing assembly and the delivery roller are driven by the main mo-
tor. After it is removed from the photosensitive drum, the paper is moved to the inside of the
fixing assembly, where the toner image is fused to the fibers of the paper by the work of the
fixing roller and pressure roller; thereafter, the paper is delivered outside the machine.
The fixing system has the following functions and uses the following methods:
