CHAPTER 4 INSTALLATION
1.6.3 Making Checks After Installation
a.If an Expansion RAM Has Been Installed
Generate “TEST PRINT” of the printer
board as follows, and check to make sure
that the memory size reflects the size of
the installed expansion RAM.
In the control panel, operate as follows:
“System” key>“Go” key (so that “PAUSE”
is indicated)>“Menu” key (so that “TEST
MENU” is indicated)>“Item” key to select
“TEST PRINT”; then press the “Enter/
Cancel” key.
b.If a Flash ROM Module Has Been Installed
Generate “THE PINT” of the printer
board as follows, and check to make sure
that the name/version of the flash ROM
module is indicated:
In the Control panel, operate as follows:
“System” key>“Go” key (so that “PAUSE”
is indicated)>“Menu” key (so that “TEST
MENU” is indicate)>“Item” key to select
“TEST PRINT”; then, press the “Enter/
Cancel” key.
