Bolts
Commonly called bolts, the technical name for
these
fa
steners is cap screws. Metric bolts are de-

between each thread). For example.

The measurement across

Nuts
Nuts are manufactured

of

s and
sizes. Most are hexago

ed) and
fit
on

screws and studs

the same diameter and pitch.

Several types of bolts. screws and nuts
