blue wire and connect the other test lead to ground.

the switch is good.
there
will
be
continuity
(very low resistance).

If
the swit

fails to pass this teSt. the switch
is faulty and must be replaced.
7.
Remove the switch as described
in
this chapter.
8.
Reconnect the individual electrical conncclOr.
9.
Make sure the electrical

nnector is free
of

and is light.

Install the plunger as
shown
in Fig

7.
Make sure the
rubber
grommet
is
co
rr
ect
ly
seated in the groove
in
the crankcase.
If
not seated
correctly, there will be an
oil leak.
8.
Make sure the
electrica
l connector is free
of
corrosion
and is light.
