The ignition circuit is completed under the 2

sidestand

GEAR and the sidesland

Switch testing

5. Remove the screws and lockwashers securing

e switch to the frame and remove the switch.

Install by reversi

the se removal steps. Note
the following during installation.

Make sure the electrical connector is free
of
corrosion and is tighl.

2. Remove the fuel tank as described in Chapter
Seven.
3.
Disconnect the electrical conneclOr from the
relay.
4. Pull the relay and its rubber mount from the
mounting tab on the
frame.
5.
Reinstall the relay and rubber mount onto the
framc.
