rem
ove
the headset bearing
ra
ce as
follows:

Inslall the outer race remover (A, Figure 48)
into one
of
the outer race
s.
b,
In
sert the bearing remover
(B.
Figure 48) into
the backside of the o
ut
er
ra
ce remover.
c.
Tap on the end
of
the bearing remover with
a hammer
(C. Figure 48)
and
drive
th
e bear
ing
o
ut
er
race out
of
the steering head, Remove
the special tool from the outer race.
d. Repeat
for
the bearing o
ut
er
race on the other
end
of
the h
ea
dse
t.
