It is not necessary 10 remove the front wheel in
order to remove the caliper assembl y.
CAUTION
Do 1101 SI)iIf any brake fluid on the from
fork or from wheel. Wa sh off any
spilled brake fluid immediately, as
it
will destroy the finish. Use soapy water
alld rinse completely.

I. Clean the lOp of the master cylinder of all dirt
and foreign mailer.
2. Loo se n the sc rews (Figure 32) secu rin g the
master cyli nd er cover. Pull up and loosen th e cover
and the diaphragm. This will allow air to enter the
reservoir and allow the brake
fluid to drain oul
more quickly
in the next steps.
3. Place II container under the brake linc a! the
caliper.
