COMAND TV*
Adjusting the brightness, contrast or
colour
왘 Select “Video”  “Video”  “TV”.
왘 Show the menu system if necessary

왘 Select “TV”  “Brightness” or “Con-
trast” or “Colour”.
왘 To change the setting: slide qmr or
turn ymz until the desired setting is
reached.
왘 To store the setting: press n.
Changing the picture format
왘 Select “Video”  “Video”  “TV”.
왘 Show the menu system if necessary

왘 Select “TV”.
The TV menu appears. The R dot in
front of the menu item “16:9 opti-
mised”, “4:3” or “Widescreen” indi-
cates the format currently set.
왘 To change the format: slide qmr or
turn ymz until the desired format is se-
lected.
왘 To store the format: press n.
Fixing the frequency
i The TV receiver may automatically switch to
an alternative channel with the same programme
content but a better reception, depending on re-
ception quality. You can use “Channel fix” to pre-
vent this channel switching. This is useful, for
example, when there is a noticeable time offset
between the frequencies, or if there is interfer-
ence on a frequency.
왘 Select “Video”  “Video”  “TV”.
왘 Show the menu system if necessary

왘 Select “TV”  “Channel fix”.
You have switched the function on or
off. A tick appears next to “Channel fix”
when the function is switched on. You
will also see the FIX display in the main
area.
왘 To exit the menu: slide omp.
Setting the reception region
The correct reception region setting en-
sures that analogue TV channels can be re-
ceived correctly and with the usual quality.
COMAND is set to the correct reception re-
gion at the factory. If you are driving your
vehicle in a different country or region, you
should set COMAND accordingly. A
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre can help
you to select the correct reception region
if necessary.

The reception region list appears.
The R dot in front of a list entry indi-
cates the currently selected country.
왘 To select the reception region: slide
qmr or turn ymz until the desired re-
gion is selected.
왘 To store the selection: press n.
A note appears to inform you that if the
wrong country is set, correct reception
will not be possible.
