COMAND system settings
i On devices which do not have an input key-
pad (e.g. headsets), the access number is prede-
termined. In this case, it is not necessary to
enter the number on the device itself. You will
usually find the access number in the operating
instructions for the device.
왘 To enter the access number into
COMAND: select the four digits one by
one.
왘 To cancel the entry into COMAND:
select “Back”.
왘 To confirm the entry into COMAND:
select ?.
왘 If necessary, enter the same access
number into the Bluetooth device
(
컄 the operating instructions for the
device).
The device is authorised.
Revoking authorisation for a Bluetooth
device
왘 Call up the Bluetooth device list
(
컄 page 204).
왘 Select the authorised device.
왘 Select “De-authorise”.
A prompt appears asking whether you
really wish to revoke authorisation for
this device.
왘 Select “Yes” or “No”.
If you select “Yes”, the authorisation
for the device will be revoked.
i If you revoke authorisation for a device
which has been authorised in the past and which
is not detected in the search, this device will no
longer be displayed in the device list.
Devices which have been authorised in the past
but which are not detected in the search are ei-
ther not switched on or not in the vehicle.
i You can reset COMAND back to its factory
settings. This will delete all personal data (e.g.
address book entries, entries in the destination
memory and in the list of previous destinations in
the navigation system).
왘 Select “Vehicle” “System settings”
“Reset”.
A prompt appears asking whether you
really wish to reset.
왘 Select “Yes” or “No”.
If you select “Yes”, another prompt will
appear asking whether you really do
wish to reset.
왘 Select “Yes” or “No”.
If you select “Yes”, COMAND will be re-
set and restarted.
