DISTRONIC PLUS currently unavailable

Distronic Plus* is deactivated and is
temporarily not operational.
Distronic Plus* is deactivated if:
ì•« the Distronic Plus* cover in the ra-
diator grille is dirty
ì•« its radar sensor system is tempo-
rarily not operational, e.g. due to
electromagnetic radiation
ì•« its function is impaired as a result
of heavy precipitation or fog
ì•« the battery voltage is insufficient
왘 Clean the Distronic Plus* cover in the ra-
diator grille (
컄 page 419).
왘 Restart the vehicle.
Distronic Plus* will be operational again with-
out you needing to restart the engine if:
ì•« the dirt (e.g. slush) loosens while you are
driving
ì•« the system detects that the sensors are
fully available again
ì•« the message in the multi-function display
disappears
You can operate Distronic Plus* again in the
usual way.
You attempted to activate
Distronic Plus* even though you have
deactivated the radar sensor system
on the vehicle using the instrument
cluster operating system.
왘 Check whether it is possible to activate
the radar sensor system (

왘 Activate the radar sensor system using
the instrument cluster operating system.
DISTRONIC PLUS inoperative Distronic Plus* is faulty. 왘 Have Distronic Plus* checked at a quali-
fied specialist workshop.
