Park Assist currently unavailable

Park Assist* is deactivated and is
temporarily not operational. Park
Assist* is deactivated if:
ì•« its radar sensor system is tempo-
rarily not operational, e.g. due to
electromagnetic radiation emitted
by nearby TV or radio stations.
ì•« the areas around the sensors in
the bumpers (
컄 page 420) are
dirty
ì•« the battery voltage is insufficient
왘 Clean the bumpers (컄 page 420).
왘 Wait until the battery voltage has returned
to normal.
Park Assist* will be operational again without
you needing to start the engine if:
ì•« the dirt loosens while the vehicle is in mo-
tion
ì•« the system detects that the sensors are
fully available again
ì•« the message in the multi-function display
disappears
You can use Park Assist* again in the usual
way.
You attempted to activate Park
Assist* even though you have deacti-
vated the radar sensor system on the
vehicle using the instrument cluster
operating system.
왘 Check whether it is possible to activate
the radar sensor system (
컄 page 247).
왘 Activate the radar sensor system using
the instrument cluster operating system.
inoperative Park Assist* is unavailable due to a
malfunction.
왘 Visit a qualified specialist workshop.
PRE-SAFE inoperative
