COMAND seats

The lumbar support in the backrest of the
front seats can be adjusted to provide op-
timum support for your back.
왘 Press the O button.
The main area of the COMAND display
is active. A scale appears.
왘 To move to the lower menu line:
slide qmr.
왘 To select the seat: slide omp or turn
ymz.
왘 To confirm the selection: press n.
i When you press the O function button,
the previously set seat is active.
왘 To adjust the lumbar support: slide
omp or turn ymz until the desired set-
ting is reached.

The contour of the front seat backrests can
be individually adjusted to provide opti-
mum support for your back. This is
achieved by controlling the pressure in the
air chambers in the multi-contour seat.
The adjustments are made using the
COMAND display.
i When you adjust the multi-contour seat, you
may hear the air being pumped in or released.
You can adjust the following air cushions:
ì•« Seat cushion side bolsters
ì•« Thigh support cushion
ì•« Backrest side cushions
ì•« Backrest curvature in the lumbar re-
gion
ì•« Backrest curvature in the upper back
region
ì•« Seat firmness
왘 Make sure that the key is in position 2
in the ignition lock.
왘 Press the O button.
Selecting the seat
You must first select the seat for which you
wish to make adjustments.
왘 Press the O button.
The main area is active.
왘 To move to the lower menu line:
slide qmr.
