Locking/unlocking in an emergency
If you cannot lock or unlock the vehicle us-
ing the key or the KEYLESS GO* key, use
the emergency key element to unlock the
driver’s door.
i If you unlock the vehicle with the emergency
key element, the anti-theft alarm system* will be
triggered (
컄 page 57) as soon as the driver’s
door is opened.
There are several ways of disabling the alarm:
앫 Press the Œ or ‹ button on the key.
ì•« Insert the key into the ignition lock.
ì•« Press the KEYLESS GO* button

ì•« Lock or unlock the vehicle using KEYLESS
GO*.

왘 Pull the release catch in the direction of
the arrow and at the same time remove
emergency key element 2 completely
from the key.
1 To unlock the driver’s door
왘 Insert the emergency key element to
the stop into the lock.
왘 Turn the key anti-clockwise to the stop
1 and hold it in this position.
The door is unlocked.
왘 Quickly pull the door handle.
The locking knob pops up.
The door is unlocked.
왘 Turn the emergency key element back
and remove it.
왘 Pull the door handle again.
