Changing the batteries

4 Emergency key element
왘 Use emergency key element 4 to slide
old batteries 3 out of the battery tray.
왘 Insert the new batteries underneath
the contact spring with the positive ter-
minal facing upwards. Use a lint-free
cloth to do so.
왘 Push the battery tray back into the key
housing until the battery tray engages.
i When inserting the batteries, make sure that
they are clean and lint-free.
왘 Check the function of all buttons on the
key on the vehicle.
You need two 12 V pin batteries.

2 Battery cover
왘 Slide off battery cover 2.
왘 Remove old batteries 1.
왘 Insert the new batteries. Observe the
plus and minus signs in the remote
control housing when doing so.
왘 Slide the battery cover back onto the
remote control.
i When inserting the batteries, make sure that
they are clean and lint-free.
왘 Check the auxiliary heating functions
by using the remote control on the ve-
hicle.
