The yellow ABS warning
lamp is lit while the en-
gine is running.
G Risk of accident
ABS is deactivated due to a malfunction.
BAS, ESP
®
, EBV and PRE-SAFE
®
are also
deactivated as a consequence.
If the ABS control unit malfunctions, there
is also a possibility of malfunctions in other
systems, such as Parktronic*, Distronic*,
Distronic Plus*, the navigation system*,
Park Assist* and the automatic transmis-
sion.
The brake system continues to function
normally, but without electronic support.
The wheels could therefore lock if you
brake hard, for example.

왘 Visit a qualified specialist workshop as
soon as possible.
