Controls
Sliding sunroof*
왘 To open automatically: briefly press
the switch beyond the pressure point in
the direction of arrow 1 and release
it.
The sliding/tilting sunroof opens to
the position at which the roof was last
stopped when opened automatically.
To stop:
왘 Press the switch in any direction.
The sliding/tilting sunroof stops in
its current position.
i If you press the switch again after stopping,
the sliding/tilting sunroof opens completely.
Closing
왘 To close manually: press the switch in
the direction of arrow 2 and hold it un-
til the sliding/tilting sunroof is in the
desired position.
or
왘 To close automatically: briefly press
the switch beyond the pressure point in
the direction of arrow 2 and release it.
The sliding/tilting sunroof closes fully.
To stop:
왘 Press the switch in any direction.
The sliding/tilting sunroof stops in
its current position.
왘 You can close the cover by hand if nec-
essary (
컄 page 361).
Raising
You can raise the sliding/tilting sunroof at
the rear to provide ventilation.
왘 To raise manually: press the switch in
the direction of arrow 3 and hold it un-
til the sliding/tilting sunroof is in the
desired position.
왘 To raise automatically: briefly press
the switch beyond the pressure point in
the direction of arrow 3 and release
it.
Lowering and closing
왘 To lower manually: pull out the switch
in the direction of arrow 4 and hold it
until the sliding/tilting sunroof is in the
desired position.
or
왘 To lower automatically: briefly pull
the switch beyond the pressure point in
the direction of arrow 4 and release
it.
The sliding/tilting sunroof lowers at
the rear and closes fully.
Rain closing feature
The sliding/tilting sunroof closes auto-
matically when the ignition key is removed
and the vehicle is locked:
ì•« if it starts to rain
ì•« at extreme outside temperatures
ì•« after 6 hours
ì•« if there are voltage supply malfunctions
The sliding/tilting sunroof then raises at
the rear to continue to ventilate the vehicle
interior.
! The sliding/tilting sunroof opens again
slightly if it is closed using the rain closing fea-
ture and is obstructed. The rain closing feature is
then deactivated.
