In the “Settings” menu, you can:
앫 switch the daytime driving lights on or
off
앫 set the limit speed for winter tyres
앫 activate or deactivate the additional
speedometer
앫 activate or deactivate the radar sensor
system*
Switching the daytime driving lights on
or off
If you have set “Daytime driving lamps” and
the light switch is at 0, the following light
up automatically while the engine is run-
ning:
앫 Side lamps and dipped-beam head-
lamps
앫 Licence plate lighting
왘 Press ( or & to select the “Set-
tings” menu.
왘 Press % or $ to select “Daytime
driving lights”.
왘 Press #.
왘 Press # again if you wish to change
the current status.
The daytime driving lights are switched
on or off according to their previous
state.
i If you turn the light switch to another posi-
tion apart from 0, the appropriate light switches
on.
i Make sure that the light switch is at B or
* when you switch off the daytime driving
lights in darkness while the vehicle is in motion.

Hiding or showing the additional speed-
ometer
You can show an additional digital speed-
ometer in the multi-function display. The
speed is displayed in miles per hour.
왘 Press ( or & to select the “Set-
tings” menu.
왘 Press % or $ to select “Aux.
speedometer”.
왘 Press #.
왘 Press # again if you wish to change
the current status.
The additional speedometer is activat-
ed or deactivated according to its pre-
vious state.
Activating and deactivating the radar
sensor system*
If your vehicle is equipped with a 24 GHz
radar sensor system, you can deactivate or
activate it.
! You must deactivate the 24 GHz radar sen-
sor system in certain countries and near to radio
astronomical installations.
i Information on where you must deactivate
the radar sensor system is available from a
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre.
왘 Press ( or & to select the “Set-
tings” menu.
왘 Press % or $ to select “Radar
sensor”.
왘 Press #.
