pends on the status of the telephone.

Telephone off
The “Telephone off” message appears in
the multi-function display.
Telephone on
PIN not yet entered
The “Please enter PIN” message appears in
the multi-function display.
왘 Enter the PIN code using the tele-
phone, Linguatronic* or COMAND.
The telephone searches for a network.
The display remains empty during this
time.
Telephone ready to receive calls
The name of the appropriate GSM network
provider appears in the multi-function dis-
play.
