Nightview system*
! Do not attempt to clean the lens of the
Nightview system camera. If the camera lens is
dirty, visit a qualified specialist workshop, e.g. a
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre.
1 Camera cover grip recesses
왘 Fold the camera cover down by grip re-
cesses 1.
2 Camera
왘 Clean the windscreen in front of cam-
era lens 2 with clean water and a soft
cloth.
! If you are using a window cleaner, do not
spray it onto the lens of the Nightview system
camera.
Clean the ball coupling and the ball cou-
pling recess if they have become dirty or
rusted. The ball coupling can then be at-
tached and detached more easily and
more securely.
왘 Remove the dirt with a clean, lint-free
cloth or a brush.
왘 Remove any rust using a wire brush.
! Do not clean the ball coupling with a high-
pressure cleaner. Do not use solvents.
왘 Treat the lock with an oil that is acid
and resin free.
왘 Check the function of the trailer tow
hitch on the vehicle.
