COMAND automatic air conditioning
Controlling the air conditioning in the
rear compartment* from the front
You can use this function to control the
rear-compartment air conditioning from
the front.
Switching on operation of the rear-com-
partment air conditioning from the front
왘 Air-conditioning function line Select
air-conditioning central menu.
왘 To select “Rear)”: slide qmr or
turn ymz.
왘 To confirm the selection: press n.
“)” appears in the central menu on
the air-conditioning function line. The
rear-compartment air conditioning can
be controlled from the front.

conditioning system in the rear compart-
ment
1 Temperature in the rear compartment,
left-hand side
2 Air distribution in the rear compart-
ment, left-hand side
3 Airflow in the rear compartment
4 Central menu for the rear-compart-
ment air conditioning
5 Air distribution in the rear compart-
ment, right-hand side
6 Temperature in the rear compartment,
right-hand side
The rear-compartment air conditioning is
operated in the same way as the air condi-
tioning for the driver and front-passenger.
Central menu for the rear-compartment
air conditioning
In the central menu for the rear-compart-
ment air conditioning, you can:
앫 switch back to operation for the front
air conditioning
앫 switch off the rear-compartment air
conditioning
앫 switch automatic mode for the rear-
compartment air conditioning on or off
왘 To open the central menu:
