Changing the bulbs
Changing the bulbs in the main-beam
headlamps
왘 Switch off the lights.
왘 Open the bonnet.
Vehicles with halogen headlamps
1 Bulb holder
2 Grip
왘 Turn cover 2 (컄 page 503) anti-clock-
wise and remove it.
왘 Turn bulb holder 1 anti-clockwise un-
til it disengages.
왘 Remove bulb holder 1.
왘 Press the tabs on the connector to the
side.
왘 Remove the bulb from the connector.
왘 Insert the new bulb into the connector.
왘 Fit bulb holder 1 into the guide in the
headlamp with grip 2 pointing down
and to the right.
왘 Turn the bulb holder clockwise until it
engages and grip 2 is vertical.
Vehicles with bi-xenon headlamps*
(main-beam spot lamp*)
You can only change the main-beam spot
lamp* halogen bulb on vehicles with bi-
xenon headlamps*.
1 Bulb holder
2 Cable duct
3 Grip
왘 Turn cover 2 (컄 page 503) anti-clock-
wise and remove it.
왘 Turn bulb holder 1 anti-clockwise un-
til it disengages.
왘 Remove bulb holder1.
왘 Remove the bulb from the socket.

G Risk of injury
Xenon or bi-xenon bulbs are under high volt-
age. Do not, therefore, remove the cover on
xenon or bi-xenon bulbs. Do not change xe-
non or bi-xenon bulbs yourself, but have
them replaced at a qualified specialist work-
shop which has the necessary specialist
knowledge and tools to carry out the work
required.
