Automatic air conditioning
! Air-recirculation mode switches off auto-
matically:
ì•« after approximately five minutes at outside
temperatures below approximately 5 °C
ì•« after approximately five minutes if the cool-
ing function is switched off (컄 page 216)
ì•« after approximately 30 minutes at outside
temperatures above approximately 5 °C
Air-recirculation mode with conven-
ience opening or closing feature
Sliding/tilting sunroof*
왘 Convenience closing: press the ,
rocker switch up or down for more than
two seconds.
The sliding/tilting sunroof closes. The
indicator lamp in the rocker switch
comes on. Air-recirculation mode is ac-
tivated.
왘 Summer opening: press the ,
rocker switch up or down for more than
two seconds.
The indicator lamp in the rocker switch
goes out. The side windows and the
sliding/tilting sunroof move back to
their previous position. Air-recircula-
tion mode is deactivated.
i If you open a window or the sliding/tilting
sunroof* manually after closing using the con-
venience closing feature, they will remain in this
position when opened using the convenience
opening feature.
Panorama sliding sunroof*
왘 Convenience closing: press the ,
rocker switch up or down and hold it
until the panorama sliding sunroof* is
in the desired position.
The indicator lamp in the rocker switch
comes on. Air-recirculation mode is ac-
tivated.
왘 Summer opening: press the ,
rocker switch up or down and hold it
until the panorama sliding sunroof* is
in the desired position.
The indicator lamp in the rocker switch
goes out. The side windows and the
panorama sliding sunroof open. Air-re-
circulation mode is deactivated.
When you have switched off the engine,
you can still heat the stationary vehicle for
up to 30 minutes using residual heat.
i If you switch on residual heat in high temper-
atures, only the ventilation is switched on.
The heating time depends on the interior
temperature set and the coolant tempera-
ture.
G Risk of accident
Make sure that nobody can become trapped
as you close the sliding/tilting sunroof*/
panorama sliding sunroof* and the side win-
dows.
To halt the closing procedure and open the
sliding/tilting sunroof*/panorama sliding
sunroof*, press the roof switch in the appro-
priate direction (
컄 page 359).
