Boot
왘 Insert the emergency key element into
the boot lock.
1 To unlock
2 To lock
왘 To lock: turn the emergency key ele-
ment clockwise to position 2 and re-
move it in this position.
왘 To unlock: turn the emergency key el-
ement anti-clockwise to position 1
and remove it in this position.
Opening the boot lid from the outside
using the remote control
You can unlock and open the boot simulta-
neously with the key.
! The boot lid automatically swings upwards.
Therefore, make sure that there is sufficient
clearance above the boot lid.
왘 Press and hold the Šbutton on the
key until the boot lid opens.
Closing automatically from the out-
side*
On vehicles with the boot lid remote clos-
ing feature*, you can close the boot from
outside. On vehicles with KEYLESS GO*,
you can also lock your vehicle centrally at
the same time.
i Do not leave the key in the boot. Otherwise,
you could lock yourself out. If the boot lid touch-
es an object in its upper range of movement, e.g.
luggage which is piled too high, the closing pro-
cedure is interrupted and the boot lid reopens.
i You can only open the boot lid when the ve-
hicle is stationary.

왘 To close: press closing button 1 brief-
ly.
The boot lid closes automatically.
i If the vehicle was previously locked central-
ly, it is only necessary to close the boot lid again.
It will then be automatically locked.

Monitor the boot lid closing procedure to
make sure that nobody can become
trapped. Press the closing switch on the
boot lid again or press the Å button on
the remote control to halt the closing proce-
dure.
