Apply grease to a new sleeve [1] cavity.
Drive the sleeve so that the depth from the final
reduction case surface is
4.3
- 4.9
mm
(0.17 - 0.19
in),
using the special tools.
TOOLS:
[2] Driver
[3] Pilot, 20 mm
077 49-0010000
077 46-0040500
Apply grease to the both new dust seals.
Install the left dust seal [1] into the final reduction case
until it
is
fully seated.
Install the right dust seal
[2]
so that the depth from the
final reduction case surface is
0.5 -
1.1
mm
(0.02 - 0.04
in).
• Install the dust seals
in
the correct direction as
shown.

Apply each
0.2 - 0.3
g of grease
