Router Chassis Overview
Monitor the router chassis to ensure that the installed components are operating normally
and that packets are being forwarded to their destination.
The router chassis is a rigid sheet-metal structure that houses all of the router hardware
components. For more information about the router chassis, see the appropriate router
hardware guide.
Figure 36 on page 143 shows the front and rear of the M5 and M10 Internet router chassis
and the installed components.
