Removal
1) Remove the final gear assembly. Refer to “Final
Gear Assembly Removal and Installation in Section
3B (Page 3B-23)”.
2) Remove the rear propeller shaft joint (1).
3) Remove the O-ring (2).

6. O-ring : Apply water resistance grease.
7. Rear propeller shaft boot : Do not reuse.
