21 ENGINE/AIRFRAME SENSOR INSTALLATION
21.1 Engine/Airframe Sensor Options
Table 21-1 lists the types of engine/airframe sensors that may be used for the various engine/airframe
inputs. Many of these sensors are included in the Garmin G3X™ avionics Sensor Kits (Section 21.2
). Each
of the sensors must be correctly installed and configured (Appendix H.4.19
for GDU™ 37X display
systems and Section 30.4.32
for GDU 4XX systems) before use.
NOTE
In addition to the engine sensors listed in Table 21-1, the G3X system can also work with
many other sensors (not listed) that output a compatible signal, refer to the sensor
specifications to establish compatibility.
