23.4.17 Temperature Inputs
GDU 4XX Systems:
Some thermocouple inputs are multi-purpose capable and have several configuration options. CHT5/
CHT6, GP 6/GP 7, TEMP 1/TEMP 2/TEMP 3/TEMP 4, and Oil Temp can be used for resistive based
temperature sensors. TEMP 3/4 are unavailable if CHT 5/6 are in use for CHT. TEMP 5/6 are unavailable
if EGT 5/6 are in use for EGT. TEMP 5/6 support thermocouples only. These inputs are configured by the
GDU (refer to Section 30.4.32
).
GDU 3XX Systems:
Some thermocouple inputs are multi-purpose capable and have several configuration options. CHT5/
CHT6, GP6/GP7, MISC TEMP 1/MISC TEMP 2, and Oil Temp can be used for resistive based
temperature sensors. These inputs are configured by the GDU (refer to Appendix H.4.19
).
NOTE
If installing an ungrounded thermocouple to an Analog In input, a DC reference must be
added to the LO input. This can be accomplished by adding a resistance of 1 MΩ or less
between ground and the Analog In LO input the ungrounded thermocouple is installed on.
