21.2.2.2 Rotax 914
Table 21-6 lists the sensors used for G3X installations with Rotax 914 engines. Order all sensors in the
Rotax 912 sensor kit except the
fuel pressure sensor. Instead, use the UMA 1EU07D differential fuel
pressure sensor.
21.2.2.3 Rotax 912iS/915iS/916iS
The G3X system is capable of monitoring the following engine parameters from the Rotax 912iS/915iS
/916iS FADEC digital interface, when connected to the dedicated FADEC CAN interface on a GEA 24:
• RPM
• Manifold pressure
• Manifold air temperature
• Oil pressure
• Oil temperature
• Exhaust gas temperature
• Coolant temperature
• Fuel flow
• ECU bus voltage
• Throttle position
• Percent Power (Rotax 915iS and 916iS only)

The GEA 24B (010-02770-00) is capable of dual CAN connections to the Rotax FADEC. This provides
greater communication redundancy with the Rotax ECU. See Figure 28-2.3

FADEC wiring information. The wiring method represented in Figure 28-2.2
remains compatible with the
GEA 24B.
Fuel pressure for Rotax FADEC engines may be monitored using one of the two following methods:
• Use UMA 1EU70D differential sensor for fuel pressure.
• With a GDU 4XX system, select an appropriate fuel pressure sensor from Table 21-1
as
appropriate, and configure the sensor to display fuel pressure relative to manifold pressure (see
Section 30.4.32.11
).
