6.3 Installation Information
6.3.1 Required Equipment
A installation kit (Table 6-1, Table 6-2, Table 6-3) is required to install the unit, one kit is required for each
GDU 4XX installed. The GDU 4XX Nut Plate (Figure 6-6
GDU 45X, Figure 6-9 GDU 46X, Figure 6-12
GDU 470) is included in the installation kit for use when it is not possible to tap the instrument panel for
6-32 screw threads. The installation kits are not included with the GDU 4XX.
A separate drilling guide is included to aid the installation of a GDU 470 in a panel that formerly contained
a GDU 37X display.
