30.4.32.19 Manifold Air Temperature
FADEC
: The GEA 24 can be configured to monitor manifold air temperature data from the Rotax
912iS/915iS/916iS FADEC interface.
30.4.32.20 Turbine Inlet Temperature (TIT)
One or two Type K thermocouples can be connected for turbine inlet temperature monitoring, using the
TIT 1 and TIT 2 inputs on the GEA 24 or GSU 73 in addition to the TEMP 1-6 inputs on the GEA 24. If
Lean Assist using TIT is desired, change the Lean Assist setting to "Enabled". (see Lean Assist
for more
information).
For turbine engine applications, the TIT 1 or TIT 2 input can alternatively be configured to monitor a
single Turbine Interstate Temperature (ITT) or Turbine Outlet Temperature (TOT).
30.4.32.21 Coolant Temperature
The following sensors can be configured to monitor coolant temperature on the GEA 24 Temp 1-6:
• Rotax 965531
• Rotax 966385
• Thermistor (any VDO or similar 50-150°C thermistor)
NOTE
TEMP 5/6 on GEA 24 support thermocouples only.
FADEC
: The GEA 24 can be configured to monitor coolant temperature data from the Rotax
912iS/915iS/916iS FADEC interface.
30.4.32.22 Coolant Pressure
The following sensors can be configured to monitor coolant pressure on any GEA 24 GP input or on GSU
73 MISC PRESS inputs:
• Garmin GPT 75G
• Kavlico P4055-5020-3 (0-75 PSI)
• Custom sensor
Custom:
This option allows the installer to enter up to 8 points of voltage-to-pressure calibration. See pin
description in Section 25
for allowable input voltage range.
