7.6 Pre-Transfer Charging Assembly
7.6.1 Removing the Pre-Transfer Charging Assembly
1) Open the front cover, and slide out the
hopper assembly.
2) Remove the mounting screw [1], and
disconnect the connector [2]; then, de-
tach the pre-transfer assembly [3].

When you have mounted the
pre-transfer charging assembly,
be sure to execute ‘wire clean-
ing’ in user mode. (If the sur-
face temperature of the fixing
upper roller is 100°C or lower,
you need not execute this, as the
wire will be cleaned automati-
cally.
